Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated test scripts for REST and SOAP APIs.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Report and track defects using appropriate tools.




- Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP API testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Understanding of database testing and SQL.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on API testing.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
