Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API automation and a passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated test frameworks for API testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify testing requirements.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA team members in automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills





- Strong knowledge of SDET principles and practices.
- Proven experience in API automation using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud services and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker).
- Experience in mobile application testing.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on API testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
