Java Developer - Backend/API Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a solid background in the commercial banking domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and support of enterprise applications, focusing on performance, stability, and scalability. This role requires a deep understanding of Java development, SQL, and proficiency in technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop complex features, modules, and services.
- Own end-to-end implementation (design, code, test, deploy).
- Review and refactor legacy code for maintainability.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills





- Core Java & Spring Boot / Microservices - Advanced
- End-to-End Development (Design to Deployment) - Advanced
- Debugging, Troubleshooting & Code Refactoring - Advanced
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs - Advanced
- AWS with deployment experience - Advanced (Deal Breaker)

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of database technologies and SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in the banking sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
