We are seeking an experienced Cortex and Snowflake Engineer with 7 to 11 years of hands-on data engineering and advanced analytics experience to lead our enterprise data platform. You will architect, build, and scale our core data warehouse while driving the integration of native AI capabilities using Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, and up-to-date vector search architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Platform & Data Engineering
Own the end-to-end Snowflake platform architecture, including databases, schemas, views, clustering keys, streams, tasks, and Snowpipes.
Design, build, and optimize high-throughput batch and real-time data integration pipelines moving data from diverse source systems into Snowflake.
Enforce performance optimization, warehouse right-sizing, and complex query tuning best practices.
Implement robust data governance and secure data access using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC),
masking policies, and row/column-level security controls. [1, 2]
Snowflake AI & Cortex Integration
Design and implement AI-driven solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI functions (COMPLETE, CHAT, SUMMARIZE, EMBED_TEXT).
Build scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, semantic search layers, and intelligent analytics directly over enterprise data.
Enable AI/ML workflows, feature engineering, and model orchestration using Snowpark (Python/Scala) alongside integrations with external platforms like Azure ML, Databricks, or SageMaker.
Drive practical enterprise AI use cases such as natural language text-to-SQL analytics, automated document summarization, fraud detection, and AI copilots.
