Configuration Management & Puppet Administration

Puppet Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain Puppet OSS servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Module Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Puppet modules for scalable infrastructure automation.

Data Management: Manage and update Hiera data to ensure accurate, setting-specific configurations.

Code Deployment: Execute and oversee environment synchronization and code deployments using R10K.

Troubleshooting: Act as the subject matter expert to diagnose and resolve complex Puppet-related issues across our Linux server fleet.

Automation & Deployment

Ansible Development: Develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate configuration management and infrastructure tasks.

Deployment Pipelines: Build and maintain robust deployment playbooks to streamline application and service releases.

Scripting & Operational Support

Custom Scripting:



Write and maintain custom automation scripts using Bash/Shell, Python, or PowerShell tailored to specific project requirements.

System Maintenance: Provide operational support for routine OS patching initiatives, ensuring infrastructure security, stability, and compliance.

Technical Toolset & Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with the following technologies:

Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux administration, command-line operations, and system troubleshooting.

Configuration Management: Extensive hands-on experience with Puppet OSS (Open Source) and Ansible.

Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with GitLab for source code management, code reviews, and pipeline automation.

Artifact Management: Experience utilizing Nexus Repository Manager for storing and managing build artifacts.
