Role & responsibilities The Lead API, Raw Material & Packing Material Sourcing and Commercials is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and commercial negotiations for APIs, key raw materials (KSMs), excipients, and packaging materials. The role ensures cost competitiveness, supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and value creation while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for APIs, raw materials, and packing materials in alignment with business and regulatory requirements

Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard approved suppliers, including alternate and dual-source strategies to mitigate supply risk.

Ensure suppliers comply with cGMP, regulatory standards,



and company quality systems.

Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory inspections (USFDA, EMA, WHO, etc., where applicable).

Sustainable cost savings and value creation

Preferred candidate profile

Robust expertise in API, pharmaceutical raw materials, and packing materials

Bachelors degree in pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field

Knowledge of pharma procurement, contracts, and regulations

Proven experience handling API and regulated material sourcing
