Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned MDM Leader to establish and drive the Material Master Data Management function across SAP systems. The role involves leading end-to-end material master governance, data standardization, cleansing, and compliance across project materials, MRO spares, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead SAP MM Material Master creation, validation, classification & governance (ECC / S4 HANA).
- Define and implement MDM strategy, standards, and governance framework.
- Build and manage a high-performing MDM team (25 members).
- Drive data cleansing, migration, mass updates, and duplication control.
- Manage Master Equipment List (MEL), asset register, functional locations & BOMs.
- Identify & code MRO spares, perform criticality analysis & optimization.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards (ASTM, BS, IS, DIN, JIS, etc.).
- Monitor data quality KPIs,



SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Quality & Production teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years in Material Master Data Management.
- 6+ years leading MDM teams with SAP MM expertise (MM01/MM02, classification).
- Robust knowledge of piping, equipment, electrical & engineering materials.
- Expertise in Excel/CSV data handling & SAP mass processing tools.
- Proven experience in building MDM functions.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in any Engineering discipline.
- SAP MM Certification is an advantage.
