Job Summary

Lead Developer role for an MNC requiring ten to fourteen years of experience in designing and delivering complex Java applications using core and advanced Java. The role focuses on building secure and scalable solutions for enterprise customers with hybrid work model and day shift and benefits from exposure to payments domain though not mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Lead end to end design and development of complex enterprise applications using core Java and advanced Java to deliver robust and maintainable solutions for business stakeholders
- Drive implementation of scalable application architectures that optimize performance and reliability for high volume transactional systems built on Java technologies
- Coordinate with product owners and business analysts to translate functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee code quality through thorough reviews adherence to coding standards and effective use of design patterns to enhance readability testability and long term sustainability of Java codebases
- Guide the team in identifying and resolving complex defects and performance bottlenecks in Java services and integrations to ensure stable production environments and improved user experience
- Collaborate with quality engineering teams to define test strategies automate regression suites for Java components and ensure high coverage and predictable releases in day shift hybrid work model
- Manage integration of Java applications with external services including optional payments related platforms to provide secure and seamless data flow supporting critical business journeys
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new Java frameworks and tools that enhance developer productivity application resilience and alignment with company technology standards




- Coordinate deployment activities with operations and platform teams to ensure smooth releases version control discipline and reliable rollback strategies for all Java based solutions
- Ensure compliance with organizational security guidelines and industry best practices by embedding secure coding techniques and rigorous validation in all Java modules
- Provide technical mentorship to developers by sharing best practices in Java development debugging strategies and clean architecture approaches that strengthen overall team capabilities
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate progress technical risks and mitigation plans in a clear and structured manner that supports informed decision making and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to solutions that improve digital transaction efficiency and reliability helping the organization deliver trustworthy technology that positively impacts clients and society

Qualifications

- Demonstrate deep expertise in core Java including collections concurrency and exception handling with proven experience in delivering large scale production applications over ten or more years
- Apply strong advanced Java skills across frameworks enterprise libraries and modular designs to build resilient services and reusable components for complex business workflows
- Utilize experience in designing and implementing Java based integrations with optional payments domain systems or similar transactional platforms for secure and effective processing
- Employ sound knowledge of software engineering principles including object oriented design refactoring practices and unit testing to maintain high standards of technical excellence
- Exhibit familiarity with agile development practices and collaborative hybrid work models enabling predictable delivery cycles and effective interaction with distributed teams
- Maintain strong communication and documentation abilities to express technical decisions capture solution designs and support alignment among engineering and business partners

Certifications Required Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent enterprise Java certification is preferred.
