Position Description:

As a Lead Buyer within the Programs Procurement department at Visteon, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the procurement activities for all new programs. This position requires timely execution of Automotive display and allied parts sourcing and part development while meeting cost and compliance targets. You will lead procurement activities for complex automotive projects, driving continuous improvement and innovation in supply chain operations to support Visteon's commitment to excellence in the automotive industry.

Key Objectives of this role

- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for automotive program components in alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, commodity team, supplier and plant quality, and program management teams to ensure timely procurement activities,



product development support and rampup.
- Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve supply chain reliability.
- Identify and manage procurement risks and developing contingency plans to maintain program continuity.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through VAVE, supplier consolidation and process improvements while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Lead cross-functional procurement gate reviews and provide regular status updates to senior management on program sourcing progress and challenges.
- Utilize program manage software to initiate procurement activities, timely closure of Risk tasks assigned and contract release / amendment for CNCE releases.
- Maintain data of sourcing activities and analyze spend, TAT for each of the programs and enhance sourcing decisions and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.

What You Will Do
- For each new program award, develop detailed BOM sourcing plan and execute it inline with program milestones and cost targets
- Create BOM cost performance strategy to outperform program material cost targets. Keep track of change management and prepare detailed cost down walk for gate reviews with management. Keep track of any cost task assigned and execute within target timeline
- Monitor part development inline to program milestones and resolve development risk in timely manner. Collaborate with Supplier Quality team and enable PSW sign-off in timely manner
- You will not be limited to routine administration; You will be expected to think, question and propose.

- Exhibit leadership in developing sourcing strategy and proactively identifying component sourcing / development risk for the program and timely develop mitigate plan
- Conduct workshop with cross functional team to develop part sourcing and development plan and align stake holders.
- Demonstrate project management skills manage overall program tracking and present progress with management.

- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 ~15 years of progressive procurement experience within the automotive electronics industry, with a focus on program sourcing / Procurement / Strategic sourcing / supplier management or sourcing program management
- Proven track record of managing complex automotive procurement projects and delivering cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electronics industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949), and other general compliance requirements.
- Positive proficiency in JIRA, ERP systems and MS Office etc
- Certification in Program management, procurement or supply chain management (e.g., PMP, CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
