Job Summary

Hotel Lake Palace, Thiruvananthapuram, is looking for hardworking, responsible, and dedicated Bar Kitchen Stewarding Staff to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the bar kitchen, washing and sanitizing bar utensils and equipment, cleaning glassware, and supporting the bar kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Freshers with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in hospitality are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain the bar kitchen, bar counter work areas, and designated service areas.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize glasses, bar utensils, cocktail tools, shakers, jiggers, strainers, and other bar equipment.
- Ensure the proper cleaning and handling of glassware to maintain hygiene and prevent breakage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of sinks, washing stations, preparation counters, and storage areas.
- Assist with cleaning bar kitchen equipment and beverage preparation areas as required.
- Ensure clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment are readily available during service.
- Collect and dispose of waste, including used garnishes and other bar preparation waste, according to hotel procedures.
- Maintain proper segregation and disposal of waste and empty bottles as per hotel policy.




- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain the organization of the stewarding area.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Report damaged glassware, equipment issues, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with bartenders, bar kitchen staff, and the stewarding supervisor to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Support the team during busy bar hours, functions, and special events.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel bar stewarding, bar kitchen support, or restaurant stewarding will be an advantage.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safe handling of glassware.
- Hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced bar environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
