Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Knowledge Management Manager to drive Knowledge Management initiatives within a Top-tier full-service law firm.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with robust experience in Legal Knowledge Management, including legal precedents, knowledge repositories, content governance, legal research tools and KM platforms.

The role will involve working closely with Partners, Practice Heads, senior lawyers and business teams to develop effective knowledge solutions and improve access to legal information across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the firm's Knowledge Management strategy
- Manage legal precedents, know-how, knowledge repositories and content governance
- Establish processes for capturing, organizing, maintaining and sharing legal knowledge
- Drive adoption and improvement of KM platforms and document repositories
- Work with technology and innovation teams on technology-driven KM solutions
- Support implementation of AI, Generative AI, Legal Tech and automation initiatives
- Improve legal knowledge discovery, search and retrieval
- Develop KM training,



awareness and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Build strong relationships with Partners, Practice Heads and senior lawyers
- Establish KPIs and monitor KM adoption, effectiveness and business impact
- Lead KM transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified Lawyer with a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Law
- 8–12 years of experience in Knowledge Management
- Preferably from a leading law firm or professional-services organization
- Strong experience in Legal Knowledge Management
- Expertise in precedent management, content governance and knowledge organization
- Strong understanding of legal research methodologies and legal information resources
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, iManage or similar platforms
- Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Legal Technology and automation
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills
- Experience working with Partners and Practice Heads
- Strong project and change-management capabilities
- Prior people-management experience is preferred
