Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, covering positions across the kitchen team (Head Chef, Senior CDP, CDP, Commis) and front-of-house (Restaurant Manager, Barista). Kitchen team members are responsible for daily food preparation, cooking, plating, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating with the front-of-house to ensure smooth service.

The Head

Chef and senior kitchen roles oversee menu execution, stock management, kitchen operations, and mentoring junior team members. Front-of-house team members manage guest seating, order taking, coffee and beverage preparation, and overall customer experience, including handling feedback and resolving issues promptly.



All team members collaborate to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, support opening and closing procedures, and uphold Joon Specialty Coffee’s quality and service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong food preparation and cooking skills with attention to taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and cleanliness best practices.
- Clear and professional communication skills for effective coordination within the team and with guests.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to provide a welcoming, responsive, and respectful guest experience.
- Experience in café, restaurant, or specialty coffee settings; barista skills and familiarity with coffee equipment are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and handle peak service periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory management, ordering, and waste control (especially for senior kitchen and restaurant management roles).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Previous experience in similar roles is preferred; formal culinary or hospitality training is a plus.
