Job Summary

Venus Remedies Limited is looking for a motivated Junior Research Associate to support preclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies. The role involves laboratory animal handling, in-vivo experiments, drug dosing, sample collection, observation recording, data analysis, and scientific documentation under the supervision of senior researchers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preclinical efficacy, safety pharmacology, and toxicity studies.
- Handle and monitor laboratory animals, primarily rats and mice.
- Support drug administration through different routes after appropriate training.
- Record clinical observations, body weight, food consumption, and treatment-related effects.
- Assist with blood and tissue collection, necropsy, organ weighing, and sample processing.
- Prepare dosing solutions, reagents, labels, and study materials.
- Maintain study records, raw data, protocols, SOPs, and ethical documentation.




- Assist in data analysis, literature reviews, and preparation of study reports.
- Ensure compliance with approved protocols, animal-welfare requirements, and laboratory procedures.

Educational Qualifications

- M.Pharm in Pharmacology preferred.
- M.Sc. in Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of pharmacology, toxicology, and experimental research.
- Understanding of preclinical studies and in-vivo animal experimentation.
- Good scientific documentation, observation, and data-recording skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and willingness to work in a laboratory animal research workplace.

Preferred: Academic project, dissertation, internship, or industry exposure involving animal handling, in-vivo studies, pharmacology, or toxicology. Note: Freshers with relevant academic research exposure are encouraged to apply.
