Role Description The Junior Interior Designer role at Mindscape Design is a full-time, in office position based in Surat.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support senior designers and architects in developing interior concepts, space plans, and design presentations for residential, commercial, and corporate projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, assisting with material and FF&E; selections,



coordinating with vendors and contractors, and updating design documentation. The role also involves site visits for measurements and inspections, collaborating with the project team to resolve design details, and ensuring that interior solutions align with sustainability and performance goals.

The Junior Interior

Designer is expected to participate in client meetings, contribute to design reviews, and support project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Interior Design, with practical experience in Space Planning and FF&E; selection.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and their integration with interior design solutions.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate Construction Drawings and design documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Attention to detail, strong visual and spatial awareness, and an eye for materials, finishes, and lighting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work on-site in Surat and conduct regular site visits as required.
- Interest in sustainable design and familiarity with green building principles; experience with LEED or similar frameworks is an advantage.
