Techfil Engineering is looking for a Junior Fabrication Fitter to support fabrication and assembly activities at our manufacturing facility in Perundurai.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of fabrication drawings, marking, cutting, fitting and assembly work.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out marking, cutting, grinding, fitting and assembly activities.
- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Assist senior fitters in structural fabrication and equipment assembly.
- Perform drilling, alignment and preparation of fabrication components.
- Use measuring instruments such as measuring tapes, vernier calipers and squares.
- Ensure proper fit-up and dimensional accuracy before welding.
- Maintain tools, equipment and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow workshop safety and quality requirements.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and fitting.




- Ability to understand measurements and fabrication drawings.
- Experience using grinding machines, drilling machines and hand tools.
- Knowledge of structural steel sections, plates and fabrication processes.
- Willingness to learn and work under senior fabrication personnel.

Qualification: ITI Fitter / Diploma Mechanical or relevant practical experience. Experience: 1 to 3 years preferred.

Preferred Industry: Heavy fabrication, structural steel fabrication, EOT crane manufacturing or industrial equipment manufacturing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
