Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to develop and maintain backend services, business logic, databases, and API integrations for BEAT’s digital platforms. The selected candidate will contribute to software solutions, including LMS, CRM, Operations Management System, HRMS, and other applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
- Build and manage APIs using Django or FastAPI.
- Design, manage, and maintain relational databases.
- Implement business logic, CRUD operations, authentication, and authorization.
- Integrate REST APIs with frontend and mobile applications.
- Identify, debug, and resolve backend issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and improving application performance.

Required Skills

- Strong programming fundamentals in Python.
- Basic knowledge of Django or FastAPI.




- Understanding of REST API development and integration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and CRUD operations.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Ability to debug issues and write maintainable code.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Django REST Framework.
- Basic understanding of API security and role-based access control.
- Familiarity with database design and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
- Basic knowledge of testing and API tools such as Postman.
- Academic projects, internships, or personal backend development projects.
