## About the Role

Vet Planet India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the company’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using Tally and Zoho Books and have a sound understanding of accounting principles, GST, and financial documentation.

## Key Responsibilities

- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Handle sales and purchase entries, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS workings, and other statutory compliance.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including follow-ups.
- Assist with monthly closing, expense tracking, and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure records are properly organised.




- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and auditors as required.
- Protect the confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
- Understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with spreadsheets and accounting reports.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

## Preferred

- Experience working with inventory, stock, or distribution-related accounts.
- Familiarity with e-invoicing, e-way bills, and accounting documentation.
- Experience supporting audits and month-end closing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
