Role Description The Job Controller is a full time, on-site role based at the Luxon TATA dealership in Konni. This role is responsible for planning, allocating, and monitoring workshop jobs to ensure timely and accurate completion of service, repair, and maintenance activities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with service advisors and technicians, preparing job cards, tracking work progress, updating systems and records, and ensuring adherence to brand and safety standards.

Controller will also manage workflow priorities, handle parts and resource scheduling, communicate status updates to relevant teams, and support quality checks before vehicle delivery.



Collaboration with the service team to improve productivity, minimize delays, and support excellent customer experiences is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

- Experience in job control, workshop coordination, or service operations within the automotive or related industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and dealership/service management software or willingness to learn.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other departments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality standards, and accurate documentation.
- Understanding of automotive service processes, vehicle maintenance terminology, and parts coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Adoor and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
