Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in J2EE, React.js, and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java-based enterprise application development, modern front-end frameworks, and RESTful API integration.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver secure, responsive, and user-friendly applications. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience working in Agile development environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and scalable web applications using React.js, TypeScript, Java, and J2EE technologies.
- Build reusable UI components and front-end modules following industry best practices.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services with Java-based backend systems.
- Work with Java/J2EE technologies to support enterprise application development and integration.
- Implement responsive user interfaces with a focus on performance, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and application troubleshooting.
- Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, requirement analysis,



and solution architecture activities.
- Follow secure coding practices and ensure application quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use version control tools such as Git and participate in CI/CD and deployment activities.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers where required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 7–9 years of experience in software development, with strong experience in Java-based enterprise applications and modern front-end development.

Must-Have Skills
- Java / J2EE: Strong hands-on experience with Java and J2EE application development.
- React.js: Proficiency in developing dynamic, reusable, and component-based user interfaces.
- TypeScript: Strong knowledge of TypeScript, including types, interfaces, generics, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- JavaScript: Strong understanding of ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, promises, and event handling.
- HTML5 and CSS3: Experience building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible web interfaces.
- API Integration: Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
- Spring Framework: Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot for backend integration and enterprise application development.




- Debugging and Testing: Experience troubleshooting application issues and writing unit tests for front-end and backend components.
- Version Control: Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
- Knowledge of Next.js or server-side rendering concepts.
- Experience with Java enterprise frameworks, including Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with front-end testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
