Talentra Global Group
India
Talentra builds dedicated offshore teams in India for leading market research and insights firms. Founded by an operator with nearly three decades of experience building global teams across the US, UK, Canada, and India, Talentra is built on long term partnerships, dedicated full time placements, and full integration with the client’s operations.
The role
We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to join Talentra in India, embedded full time with a leading global market research and insights firm. You will be the first point of contact for a fully remote workforce, owning day to day IT support from ticket to resolution, managing the employee device and account lifecycle, and improving how IT services are delivered. You will work alongside a local IT team in Toronto who receive and process physical devices.
Day to day
- Administer Microsoft 365, identity and device management platforms, and cloud hosted desktops.
- Triage support requests from the ticketing system, chat, and email, resolving what you can and escalating the rest to the right team member with clear context.
- Onboard and offboard staff: create and remove accounts, email, and access, prepare cloud desktops, enroll devices, and run optional virtual orientation sessions for new hires who need extra help getting started.
- Support users remotely, including through remote support (RMM) tools, with Microsoft 365, collaboration and video conferencing tools, other common applications, sign in and multi factor authentication, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and resolve software problems on macOS and Windows, and coordinate warranty and out of warranty repairs with vendors.
- Order, provision, and ship IT assets and arrange equipment returns, working with local IT in Toronto.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, licenses, and accessories, and raise purchase requests when needed.
- Maintain and improve the internal IT wiki and knowledge base so common questions are self service.
- Lead projects that improve the efficiency of IT services, including automation with Power Automate and AI assisted workflows.
What we’re looking for
- 3 to 5 years of IT support or helpdesk experience supporting remote users.
- Hands on experience administering Microsoft 365 and managing user accounts, access, and devices.
- Confident supporting both macOS and Windows.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support (RMM) tools.
- Working knowledge of sign in, multi factor authentication, and mobile device support.
- Experience with workflow automation (Power Automate) or AI assisted tools is an asset.
- Experience supporting a professional services, market research, or insights setting is an asset.
- Diploma or degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
What sets our best people apart
- Clear, patient communication with technical and non technical colleagues alike.
- A proactive mindset: you anticipate issues and act before being asked.
- Sharp attention to detail and a first time right approach to your work.
- A continuous improvement mentality: you look for better ways to do things, document them, and raise them.
- A genuine service orientation: responsive, reliable, and easy to work with under pressure.
Working arrangements
- Remote, full time.
- Hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time.
Why join Talentra You are a full time Talentra employee, not a contractor, with full benefits. You work as a dedicated, embedded member of one client’s team, which gives you the stability to build depth and ownership rather than rotating between short projects. Our leadership has spent decades running global market research operations across India, the US, the UK, and Canada. We invest in long term placements and support our people to grow.
