iOS Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced iOS Lead to lead the architecture, development, technical standards, security, performance, and delivery of native iOS applications. The candidate will work closely with Backend, UX, QA, and Release teams to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead iOS application architecture, technical design, development standards, and delivery.

Define scalable, maintainable, and reusable native iOS architecture and development practices.

Drive application development using Swift and iOS SDK.

Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices for iOS development.

Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.

Own application security, performance, stability, and overall quality.

Implement secure mobile development practices for authentication, authorization, data protection, and handling of sensitive information.

Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, UI responsiveness, and network/API efficiency.

Ensure application compatibility across supported iOS versions and Apple devices.

Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to application performance, stability, scalability, and reliability.

Coordinate closely with Backend teams for API integration and resolution of technical dependencies.

Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver consistent, responsive, and user-friendly experiences.

Work with QA teams on testing strategy, defect resolution, regression testing,



and release readiness.

Coordinate with Release/DevOps teams for build management, deployment, versioning, and production releases.

Ensure adherence to iOS development standards, security guidelines, and quality practices.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to iOS developers.

Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, estimations, and planning.

Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining application quality, security, and stability.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Swift.

Robust knowledge of iOS SDK and native iOS development.

Strong understanding of native iOS architecture and design patterns.

Experience building and maintaining scalable iOS applications.

Strong knowledge of secure mobile application development.

Experience with REST API integration and backend communication.

Strong understanding of iOS application performance optimization.

Experience with debugging, testing, code reviews, and quality practices.

Good understanding of iOS lifecycle, memory management, concurrency, and application components.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services is preferred.

Experience developing applications handling sensitive customer or financial data.

Experience working with cross-functional teams across Backend, UX, QA, and Release/DevOps.
