Role Overview

As an Associate at InvestArc, you will play a key role across transaction execution, business development and practice building. The role offers significant responsibility across live mandates, with direct exposure to founders, investors, senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

The individual will be expected to independently drive key workstreams across transactions, develop strong sector and market understanding, contribute to business development initiatives and support the broader growth of the firm.

The role offers an entrepreneurial environment with the opportunity to build a long-term career in investment banking, dealmaking and ecosystem leadership, with meaningful ownership and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

1 Transaction Execution & Advisory

2 Drive key workstreams across the deal lifecycle, from onboarding through transaction closure, including financial modelling, valuation analyses, benchmarking and preparation of transaction collateral such as CIMs and teasers.

3 Conduct company and industry analysis to support transaction strategy, investor positioning and client discussions, while managing investor outreach and communication flows.

4 Coordinate diligence processes with auditors, lawyers,



consultants and other external advisors, and drive multiple parallel workstreams across live mandates to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely execution.

5 Support senior bankers and clients across negotiations, documentation and closing activities.

Business Development & Sector Coverage Contribute to InvestArc’s origination efforts across its focus sectors, including Information Technology, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Education, Real Estate through structured prospecting, market mapping and identification of potential clients and transaction opportunities.

Track industry trends, competitive landscapes, investor interests and relevant transaction activity to develop a strong understanding of sectors, business models and key ecosystem participants.

Develop pitch decks, proposals and other business development materials to convert prospective clients into live mandates.

Participate in founder conversations, introductory calls and relationship-building discussions, while supporting the development of long-term client and ecosystem relationships.

1 Firm Development & Thought Leadership

2 Contribute to building one of India’s fastest-growing investment banks through sector research reports, thematic whitepapers, proprietary insights and initiatives to develop new sector capabilities and relationships

3 Support firm-wide initiatives across hiring, events, partnerships, content and internal process building.





4 Create presentations, content and other materials that strengthen InvestArc’s brand and thought leadership.

5 Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strengthening internal talent capabilities and the broader firm-building agenda.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for high-ownership, analytically strong and commercially oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A; / corporate finance, transaction advisory, private equity, consulting, diligence, audit or related fields, with demonstrated exposure to transaction execution and management of multiple workstreams.

• Strong analytical and financial capabilities, with a solid understanding of financial modelling, business models, valuation and transaction processes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, investors and senior professionals and work effectively with multi-functional advisory teams.

• Proactive, self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset, with a solid bias towards ownership, problem-solving and execution, along with a genuine interest in businesses, sectors and the broader investing and transaction ecosystem.
