Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Interior Designer to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate should have good design sensibilities, technical drawing and visualization skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing residential and commercial interior spaces.
- Prepare 2D drawings, floor plans, layouts, and basic 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Create mood boards, material selections, furniture layouts, and client presentations.
- Coordinate with vendors, site teams, and senior designers during project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design implementation, and resolve basic site-related issues.
- Maintain project documentation, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material specifications.
- Support material, finish, furniture, and décor selection according to project requirements and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients and execution teams to ensure smooth project coordination.
Required Skills
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Basic understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and modular interiors.
- Ability to prepare working drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of site execution and interior project workflows.
Software Proficiency
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion
- 3ds Max (preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of professional experience in residential or commercial interior design.
- Practical exposure to working drawings and site execution.
- A portfolio showcasing interior design projects completed during employment or internships.
- A proactive, creative, and collaborative approach to design and project delivery.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as required.
