Role Description The Insurance Agent role at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Insurance

Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs, present suitable general insurance products, and support them in selecting and purchasing policies. Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting consultations, preparing quotes, and assisting with policy issuance and renewals. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams for underwriting and claims support,



and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

The Insurance

Agent will provide ongoing customer service, address queries, and help build lasting relationships that support customer retention and business growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively advise customers on general insurance products and solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand market offerings, pricing, and basic financial concepts related to insurance.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage a pipeline of leads, and work collaboratively with internal teams.
- Basic knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements; prior experience in general insurance or BFSI is an advantage.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are preferred.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, digital platforms, and standard office software to manage customer data and reporting.
