Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will handle customer orders from receipt to follow-up, ensuring alignment with agreed commercial terms, internal processes, and customer requirements. The role includes accurate order entry and updates in the ERP system, preferably SAP SD, along with order tracking, backlog follow-up, documentation, and internal coordination.

This position works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other departments to support smooth order processing, clear communication, and customer satisfaction. The role requires ownership, attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and the ability to work independently while following company procedures.

This role is suited for an experienced, process-oriented ISR professional who is well-versed in sales administration and customer order processes. The candidate should be able to understand existing workflows, take ownership of day-to-day activities, identify process gaps, and support continuous improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and coordination.

Requirements

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

● Validate customer orders against agreed commercial terms, pricing conditions, and internal processes.

● Accurately create, update, and maintain customer orders in the ERP system, preferably SAP SD.

● Track order progress by confirming lead times, sending order acknowledgements, and following up on pending actions.

● Manage backlog visibility and ensure timely follow-up on open orders.

● Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal teams to support smooth order processing.

● Communicate delays, lead time changes, and supply-related updates to relevant internal stakeholders.

● Maintain accurate order documentation, reports, and SAP data integrity.

● Review existing ISR and sales administration workflows and support process improvements related to order handling,



data accuracy, and internal coordination.

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

● The candidate should have experience in order handling, sales administration, customer operations, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with ERP systems is required; SAP SD experience will be preferred.

● The candidate should have a valuable understanding of commercial order processes, order entry, order updates, lead time follow-up, and backlog tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is required for documentation, reporting, and collaboration.

● The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in order and SAP data, and good coordination skills to work with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal teams.

● The candidate should be organized, able to work independently, comfortable following company procedures, and proactive in improving workflow efficiency and accuracy.

● Professional written and spoken English communication skills are required.

Good-to-Have Skills:

● Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, electronics, aerospace, defense, telecom, or connector-related business environment will be an added advantage.

● Basic understanding of supply chain, delivery coordination, order fulfilment, order acknowledgements, backlog follow-ups, and order status updates will be preferred.

Education & Experience:

● A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Trade, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

● 5+ years of experience in sales administration, customer operations, order handling, inside sales support, or a similar role is preferred.

● Experience with ERP systems is preferred; SAP SD exposure will be an added advantage.

● Experience in customer order handling, lead time follow-up, backlog tracking, documentation, internal coordination, and process improvement will be preferred.
