Studio 51 is currently transitioning from a dedicated VFX company into a broader film, television, and AI-focused organization, creating new opportunities for technology-driven roles and growth.

Role Description The Information Technology System Administrator role at Studio 51 is a contract, in office position based in Mumbai, with compensation of 25k PCM. The role involves managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and software used in production, ensuring system reliability and optimal performance. Daily tasks include monitoring system health, performing updates and backups, addressing user access and permissions, and supporting secure data management.

The System

Administrator will handle network connectivity, diagnose issues, coordinate with vendors or service providers when needed,



and provide hands-on technical support to team members to minimize downtime in studio operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong System Administration skills, including server management, user account management, and routine maintenance.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including configuring routers and switches, managing LAN/WAN environments, and ensuring stable connectivity.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose hardware and software issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Candidates should possess general Information Technology skills, including operating system knowledge (Windows, macOS, Linux), security best practices, and backup/restore procedures.
- Relevant experience in supporting production or media environments is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with VFX, film, or post-production workflows, as well as basic understanding of cloud or AI-related tools, is an advantage.
