Role Description The Information Technology System Administrator is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and core IT infrastructure, including installation, configuration, monitoring, patching, and backup management.

The System

Administrator will oversee user account management, access control, and system security, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support to internal stakeholders, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software,



and network issues, and coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed. The role also includes documentation of IT procedures, continuous improvement of system performance, and proactive identification of risks to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Administration, including server management, user account administration, and operating system configuration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration, including LAN/WAN management, routing, switching, and basic firewall and VPN configuration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology principles, including IT security basics, backup and recovery practices, and infrastructure best practices.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or ITIL) are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in facility management, business support services, or similar environments will be an added advantage.
