Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with project managers, architects, and clients to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Daily responsibilities include creating design concepts, preparing layouts and detailed drawings, selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings, and ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines. The role involves site visits, coordination with contractors and vendors, and monitoring execution to maintain design integrity and quality standards.

The Interior

Designer will also prepare presentations, mood boards,



and documentation to clearly communicate design intent to stakeholders and support approvals.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, and selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), along with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote).
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and coordination with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Effective client-facing skills, including the ability to understand requirements, present design options, and incorporate feedback.
- Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to balance functionality, safety, and cost considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in interior design for residential, commercial, or corporate projects in a construction or infrastructure workplace is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
