Reports to Section Incharge – PLTCM

Purpose - Why does this role exist? Ensures to Achieve Overall Targets of Production, Cost, and Quality & Delivery. Ensure Optimum Utilization of manpower machine and other resources.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

- To achieve the production target as per ABP
- To achieve the utilization target as per ABP
- To achieve the target of yield
- To achieve the target of power consumption as per ABP
- To achieve the target of operating efficiency 100% as per ABP
- Punching of safety observation in SOS portal, recent idea in portal
- Prepare Shift Wise Production Plan that is aligned to MBP & ABP
- Achieve Overall Targets of Production, Cost, Quality & Delivery
- Optimum Utilization of manpower machine and other resources.
- Continuous process improvement for quality upgradation
- Maintain consumption of consumables within the norms to maintain PMT cost of Product

Critical Tasks KRA’s and Key Activities

- Process Monitoring & Process Control
- Reduce Waste and Scrap Generation
- 100 % Compliance with SOP
- Prepare Action Plan for Repetitive Breakdowns and quality Diversion




- Training & Upgradation of departmental manpower skills to reduce losses
- Documentation for IMS Audits
- Maintain 5S on Shop Floor
- Contribute different activity of TPM & Six Sigma Projects
- Ensure to Achieve & Maintain required Environmental Norms
- Identification and reduction of unsafe acts/ unsafe conditions/ Safety rule violations.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

- Takes effective and speedy decisions
- Involves concerned people in decision making process when required
- Anticipates likely implications of decisions on stakeholders and deals with those effectively

Educational Background And Work Experience

- Diploma - Mechanical and Production
- 5+ years of experience in Operations
