About the Role

The Raw Material Procurement Executive (Import) is a key on-site role at Nua's Head Office in Mumbai.

You will make sure imported raw materials for sanitary napkin production are available in the right quantity and at the right time for every manufacturing partner (OEM).

You will own the import PO cycle end to end: raising and following up POs with overseas suppliers, checking material plans against the finished goods production plans shared by the FG OEM PO team, and tracking each container from loading at origin, through customs clearance, to delivery and issue to each OEM. You will work closely with the on-site QC team on stock audits and reports, and with the CHA and logistics partners on clearance.



Reporting directly to the Procurement Head and the Operations Head, you will give early warning of shortages, delays and cost risks so that production never stops for want of material.

Key Responsibilities

- Raise, follow up and track import raw material POs (fluff pulp, SAP, non-woven, PE film, release paper, tissue, adhesive, packaging material, etc.) with overseas suppliers.
- Review FG production plans shared by the FG OEM PO team and prepare OEM-wise raw material requirements.
- Compare requirements against stock, open POs and in-transit material, and flag shortfalls or excess early.
- Recommend PO quantities and timing based on lead times (production, shipping, customs) and minimum order quantities.
- Track each container from loading at origin through shipping, port arrival and customs clearance to delivery at the warehouse.
- Follow up on shipping documents (BL, invoice, packing list, COA, bill of entry) and coordinate with the CHA for timely clearance; avoid detention and demurrage.
- Track allocation and issue of cleared material to each OEM and maintain OEM-wise balances.
- Coordinate with the QC team on raw material stock audits; review audit reports and follow up on variances.
- Maintain PO and shipment trackers and share daily and weekly MIS with the Procurement Head and Operations Head.
- Support supplier performance reviews on price, quality and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Business, Engineering or a related field; MBA / PG in Supply Chain or

Materials Management is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in Import procurement or material planning, preferably in hygiene, FMCG, packaging or manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of the import process: Incoterms, LC / TT payments, customs clearance, BL and bill of entry.
- Solid material planning skills and advanced Excel experience.
- Good communication and follow-up skills with overseas suppliers, CHA and internal teams.
- Knowledge of sanitary napkin / hygiene raw materials is an advantage.
