Role Description The IGCSE Physics Teacher will deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons to secondary students, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding and exam-oriented skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson outlines, preparing teaching materials and experiments, conducting interactive classroom sessions, and assigning and checking homework and assessments.

The teacher will monitor student progress, provide individualized feedback, and support learners in developing effective study habits and exam strategies. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline,



communicating with parents or guardians when needed, and participating in internal meetings or training sessions to enhance teaching practices. This is a part time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in IGCSE Physics and a solid understanding of Cambridge IGCSE syllabus requirements.
- Proven classroom teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably with IGCSE or similar international curricula.
- Ability to design clear lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities that support diverse learning styles.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills, with an encouraging and student-centered approach.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a closely related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Comfort using basic educational technology and digital tools to supplement classroom instruction.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, attend academic meetings, and contribute to a positive institutional culture.
