Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for IB and IGCSE faculties providing one-to-one home tuition coaching. The faculty member will deliver personalized instruction in relevant IB and IGCSE subjects, plan and conduct structured lessons, and adapt teaching methods to individual student needs and learning styles.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and practice materials, clarifying concepts, assigning and reviewing homework, and providing regular feedback on student performance. The role also involves coordinating with parents or guardians on progress updates,



supporting exam preparation, and maintaining academic records. The faculty is expected to uphold the academy’s standards of academic excellence, professionalism, and learner-centered teaching during home visits.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in IB and/or IGCSE curricula in one or more disciplines (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, or related subjects).
- Proficiency in individualized lesson planning, concept explanation, and exam-oriented coaching tailored to one-to-one home tuition.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and engage them in active learning.
- Experience with assessment design, assignment review, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience in IB/IGCSE or similar international school boards, preferably in Mumbai or comparable urban settings.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area, Education, or a closely related field; a teaching qualification or certification is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within Mumbai for home tuitions, manage part time schedules, and maintain professional conduct at students’ residences.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools for sharing materials, tracking progress, and communicating with students and parents.
