Job Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) in alignment with IB standards and practices.

- Support teachers in planning, implementing, and reviewing the MYP curriculum.

- Ensure effective implementation of inquiry-based, concept-driven, and interdisciplinary learning.

- Coordinate unit planning, lesson plans, assessments, and the MYP curriculum framework.

- Guide teachers in developing assessment criteria, rubrics, and student progress reports.

- Monitor teaching quality, curriculum coverage, and student learning outcomes.

- Coordinate interdisciplinary units, service as action, and personal project activities, as applicable.

- Organize teacher training, curriculum meetings, and career development sessions.

- Maintain IB documentation, policies, curriculum records, and programme-related reports.

- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, school leadership, and the IB organization.

- Support IB evaluation and authorization requirements and ensure compliance with IB standards.

- Promote student-centred learning, international-mindedness, and the IB learner profile attributes.





- Collaborate with the Principal and Head of School to improve academic standards and programme quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject.

- B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.

- Previous experience in the IB MYP curriculum is essential.

- Experience as an MYP Coordinator or in an equivalent IB leadership role is highly preferred.

- Knowledge of IB MYP framework, approaches to teaching and learning (ATL), assessment practices, and interdisciplinary learning.

- IB MYP Category 1 or higher-level workshop training is preferred.

- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.

- Ability to mentor teachers, coordinate curriculum planning, and manage academic documentation.

- Proficiency in using digital tools for curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting.

Preferred Experience

- 2+ years of teaching experience in an IB school.

- Prior experience coordinating the MYP programme and supporting IB evaluation or authorization processes.
