Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for overall management, allotment of rooms and maintenance of the Girls Hostel.
- Ensure strict discipline in incoming and outgoing of students from the hostel and maintain attendance/leave records.
- Look after the quality, hygiene and timely serving of food in the mess and dining halls.
- Ensure safety, security and well-being of all girl students - 24/7 vigilance.
- Handle grievances/complaints of students and resolve genuine issues promptly.
- Report any case of indiscipline, misbehaviour, ragging or emergency to the Dean of Student Welfare and Proctor.




- Arrange for First-Aid and hospitalization in case of any medical emergency.
- Conduct regular hostel rounds, especially during night hours.
- Maintain proper records of visitors, stock, and hostel property.
- Organize hostel activities, cultural evenings, and create a positive, homely setting.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 4 Years of proven experience as a Female Hostel Warden in a University/College.
- Strong leadership, discipline and counselling skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Good communication skills in Hindi & English.
- Must be strict yet motherly, approachable and student-friendly.
- Basic computer knowledge for record keeping.
- Willingness to stay on-campus.
