Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, support, and optimize PACS, RIS, image viewers, and related imaging applications.

- Manage system configurations, user access, permissions, worklists, and application functionality.

- Troubleshoot image-routing, image-availability, workflow, study-matching, and image-transfer issues.

- Investigate and resolve DICOM connectivity and HL7 interface-related issues.

- Support modality integrations including CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other imaging devices.

- Monitor application performance, interfaces, queues, failed transmissions, and system availability.

- Resolve escalated incidents and collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams, and application teams for complex technical issues.

- Lead and participate in upgrades, migrations, testing, implementation, and optimization projects.

- Ensure adherence to operational processes, SLAs, compliance requirements, and documentation standards.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

- Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives.

- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership where applicable.





- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to support business objectives and imaging technology initiatives.

- Support after-hours and on-call escalations for critical imaging-system issues when required.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with PACS, RIS, VNA, DICOM, HL7, and Imaging Informatics.

- Expertise in radiology and imaging workflows.

- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Experience supporting healthcare applications and integrations.

- Knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.

- Experience working with incident management and ticketing systems.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.

- Experience with Intelerad is mandatory.

- Experience with Candelis and Laurel Bridge is preferred.

Qualification

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
