Role Description The Hiring Hydro Power Plant Trainer will deliver high-quality, on-site technical and safety training programs for hydro power plant personnel at the Mangaluru location. This contract role involves designing and updating training modules, conducting classroom and on-the-job sessions, and providing practical demonstrations on hydro power plant operations, maintenance, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.

The Trainer will assess skill levels, administer evaluations, provide feedback, and prepare progress reports for management and client stakeholders.



The role also includes collaborating with plant leadership to identify training needs, aligning content with current industry standards and best practices, and maintaining accurate training records and documentation.

Qualifications

- Solid technical expertise in hydro power generation, plant operations, and maintenance, including familiarity with turbines, generators, control systems, and safety protocols.
- Experience designing and delivering technical training programs, using a mix of classroom, workshop, and on-the-job training methods.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Ability to assess learning needs, develop structured training plans, evaluate participant performance, and adapt content based on feedback.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards, environmental and safety regulations, and best practices in power plant operations.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience working in a hydro or power plant setting; experience as a technical or corporate trainer is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer tools (e.g., MS Office, presentation software) for training material development and reporting.
