Job Title: SAP QM Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP QM Consultant with 5 -10 years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP QM implementation, configuration, testing, and support, preferably within the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or other regulated industries.

The candidate must have experience in implementing or configuring Calibration and Certification processes, with a good understanding of quality and compliance requirements in the Life Sciences industry.

The role requires a candidate with strong functional knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to independently understand business requirements and articulate SAP QM solutions to business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in end-to-end SAP QM implementation and rollout projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from business users and quality teams.
- Configure SAP QM based on business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Implement and support Calibration Management and Certification processes.
- Work with business teams to understand equipment calibration requirements, inspection processes, certification requirements, and quality controls.
- Work on integration of SAP QM with SAP PM/EAM, MM, PP, and other relevant modules.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps between SAP standard functionality and business requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Work closely with ABAP and technical teams for development and issue resolution.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.




- Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation and process guides.
- Support production issues and provide timely functional solutions.
- Participate in client/business workshops and solution discussions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend appropriate SAP solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers and other SAP functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 5 -10 years of SAP experience with strong hands-on experience in SAP QM.
- Experience in at least one or more SAP QM implementation/rollout projects.
- Mandatory experience in Calibration and Certification processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP QM configuration and business processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Good understanding of integration between SAP QM and PM/EAM, MM, PP, or related modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA QM is preferred.
- Industry experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Medical Equipment, or other regulated industries is preferred.
