Typical Responsibilities

- Writing and revising AMM procedures.

- Converting engineering data into maintenance instructions.

- Creating task cards, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance procedures.

- Working with engineering, design, and certification teams.

- Ensuring compliance with aviation standards such as ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, FAA, and EASA requirements.

Skills Required

- Aircraft systems knowledge (Airframe, Powerplant, Avionics).

- Understanding of AMM, IPC, SRM, FIM, and WDM manuals.

- Technical writing skills.

- Knowledge of S1000D, XML, Arbortext, FrameMaker, or similar documentation tools.

- Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

- AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)

- B.Tech/B.E. Aerospace, Mechanical, Aeronautical

- Aviation maintenance experience with airlines, OEMs, or MROs
