Eligibility Minimum 3 years of experience as an LGV/HGV Mechanic or in a similar role

Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Technical Qualification

Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

Good communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on LGV/HGV vehicles

Diagnose mechanical,



hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults

Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and steering components

Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure maximum vehicle uptime

Replace defective parts and perform quality repairs according to manufacturer standards

Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues

Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports

Ensure all work complies with UK health & safety regulations
