HGV Mechanic

Job Location: Ireland & United Kingdom

- Educational Qualification ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

- Work Experience A minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in heavy goods vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair is required.
- Technical Expertise Hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy vehicles, including trucks and buses. Knowledge of engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension systems is essential.

- Diagnostic Skills Ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.





- English Communication Skills Basic to valuable English communication skills are required to understand technical instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace..

- Driving Licence An HGV driving licence is an added advantage but is not mandatory for the mechanic role, subject to the employers specific requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3,4 years of HGV mechanic experience.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
- Good English communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland & United Kingdom
