Role & Responsibilities Head of Research & Development (Ayurvedic & Cosmetic)

1. Develop new Ayurvedic, herbal, skincare and cosmetic product formulations.
2. Improve existing formulations for quality, stability, effectiveness and cost optimization.
3. Conduct laboratory trials, stability studies and pilot batch testing.
4. Select and evaluate raw materials, herbal extracts and active ingredients.
5. Troubleshoot formulation issues and ensure consistent product quality.
6. Coordinate with QC, QA, Production, Purchase and Regulatory departments.
7. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and maintain R&D; documentation.
8. Manage product development projects from formulation to commercial production.
9. Lead the R&D; team and provide regular progress reports to management.
10.



Research market trends and develop innovative products based on customer requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: M.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Sc. Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or relevant field.
- 1015 years of experience in Ayurvedic, herbal and cosmetic product R&D.;
- Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic ingredients, herbal extracts and cosmetic formulations.
- Hands-on experience in product development, stability testing and commercial scale-up.
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and team management skills.
- Ability to develop cutting-edge products and optimize formulation costs.
