Role Description 1.The Head of Training – Mechanical Design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ansys, CATIA) is a full-time, in office role based in Thane.

2.This position is responsible for designing and leading mechanical design training programs, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and ensuring alignment with industry standards for CAD/CAM/CAE tools.

3.The role involves delivering classroom and lab-based sessions, supervising instructors, reviewing training materials, and monitoring learner progress and outcomes.

The Head of Training will collaborate with recruitment and placement teams to align training with employer expectations, coordinate scheduling, and maintain organized training operations.

5.Additional responsibilities include mentoring trainers, conducting quality audits of training sessions, integrating live project work, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching methods and content.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Training Management and Training, with experience leading technical training teams or academies.
- Demonstrated Organization Skills in planning schedules, managing batches, and coordinating classroom and lab resources.
- Experience with Instructional Design, including creating structured curricula, learning outcomes, and assessments for mechanical design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ansys, CATIA).
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in mechanical design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ansys, and CATIA.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse learner groups in a clear and engaging manner.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; teaching or training certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in industry projects, CAD/CAM/CAE workflows, and familiarity with current mechanical design standards and practices.
