Role Description The Head of Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves planning and managing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and delivery standards. The Head of Production will coordinate closely with engineering, purchase, and quality teams, monitor daily shop-floor operations, and resolve issues that impact output, efficiency, or cost.

The position includes leading and developing production teams,



driving continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing lean and best-practice manufacturing processes. The role also requires monitoring production budgets, aligning output with customer demand, and providing regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Production Planning to manage schedules, capacity, and materials efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Production Management expertise to oversee shop-floor activities, quality, and delivery performance.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management capabilities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and ensure safety and compliance.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management skills to lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional production staff.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to monitor production costs, optimize resource allocation, and support cost-control initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related discipline; an advanced degree or MBA in Operations is an advantage.
- Beneficial experience includes prior leadership in manufacturing or engineering environments, knowledge of fastener or precision component production, and familiarity with lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Additional desirable competencies include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
