Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting to: Directors and Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of 6 accounting professionals.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.
- Coordinate with auditors (internal, statutory, and tax) for successful audits.
- Monitor project-wise costing and profitability, especially for ship repairs and marine contracts.
- Manage cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.
- Oversee inventory and asset management.




- Drive improvements in financial processes and internal controls.
- Ensure effective use of accounting/ERP software and guide the team on the same.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or a Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 1015 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the marine, ship repair, or engineering industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
