Role & responsibilities

Lead the organization's legal function, ensuring effective corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic legal advisory to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise-wide legal governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Advise the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership on strategic legal matters.
- Oversee commercial contracts, high-value negotiations, partnerships, investments, and government tenders.
- Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and external legal counsel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, employment regulations, POSH, and corporate governance requirements.
- Protect intellectual property and organizational interests.
- Develop legal policies, SOPs, and contract management frameworks.
- Lead and develop the legal team while driving legal process improvement and digitization.

Preferred candidate profile

- LLM/LLB or MBA,



with 20+ years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management. Experience in the Automotive OEM industry is preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate legal, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Solid expertise in commercial contracts, litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk management.
- Experience advising senior leadership on strategic business decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in a corporate or manufacturing organization is preferred.
