The Role The Head – Finance Operations will lead P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and O2C (Order-to-Cash) operations and will be responsible for building a high-performing Finance Operations function.

The role will involve

- Leading end-to-end P2P/AP and O2C/AR operations , including invoice processing, vendor payments, collections, cash application, disputes, ageing and associated controls.
- Building and scaling a Shared Services / GBS / captive centre operating model, with clear processes, SLAs, KPIs, governance and productivity measures.
- Leading significant finance process transitions / insourcing , including planning, knowledge transfer, process documentation, controls, cutover and stabilisation.
- Driving process simplification, standardisation and redesign to improve turnaround time, accuracy, productivity and controls.
- Driving automation and technology-led transformation across Finance Operations through workflow, RPA, AI/GenAI and other relevant technologies.
- Partnering with Finance and Technology teams on SAP and finance transformation initiatives .
- Overseeing finance processes related to Capex , including POs, invoices, vendor payments, project milestones and capitalisation.
- Building a solid leadership layer and operating rhythm capable of supporting the organisation through rapid growth.

What are we looking for? We are looking for a finance operations leader who brings a combination of:

Manufacturing / Allied Industry Experience

Significant experience in Manufacturing or an allied, asset- and transaction-intensive industry such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Industrial/Heavy Engineering, Electronics, Energy or similar sectors.

P2P + O2C Leadership





Proven experience of actually leading both P2P/AP and O2C/AR operations at scale , with accountability for transaction quality, timeliness, controls and productivity.

Shared Services / GBS / GCC Experience

Experience leading P2P/O2C operations within a Shared Services, GBS or captive centre , preferably with a sizeable transaction-processing organisation.

SAP Experience

Strong experience working with SAP in finance operations . Experience with SAP S/4HANA would be particularly relevant.

What would make the profile stand out?

- Successfully led a significant transition / insourcing / migration of finance processes.
- Built, expanded or redesigned a Shared Services / GBS operation .
- Demonstrated P2P/O2C process transformation with measurable improvements in productivity, turnaround time, accuracy or cost.
- Experience with automation, RPA, AI/GenAI or other technology-led finance transformation.
- Exposure to high-volume and complex transactions , including large material purchases/payments, imports/exports, foreign currency and multiple entities/plants.
- Experience with large-scale Capex programmes , milestone-based payments and capitalisation.
- Strong track record of building teams and developing a capable second line of leadership .
