Deltic is the electric mobility brand of Delta Autocorp Limited, an NSE Emerge-listed company with nearly a decade of experience in electric vehicles. We design, manufacture and market electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers through a network of 350+ dealers across 25+ states.

With our own products, engineering and design capabilities, two manufacturing facilities, an in-house lithium-ion battery plant and a growing retail network, Deltic is now entering its next phase of growth.

Role Overview

This is not a conventional finance role.

We are looking for a commercially strong Chartered Accountant who can take ownership of the finance function while also helping build and scale Deltic's company-owned, company-operated (COCO) retail network.

The role will work directly with the Founders and CEO and will have exposure across finance, retail, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, product and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Leadership

- Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and management reporting
- Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, inventory and dealer credit
- Drive costing, product profitability and channel profitability analysis
- Manage banking, treasury, funding requirements and financial modelling
- Ensure timely monthly and annual financial closures
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, company secretary and advisors
- Manage GST, direct tax, statutory and listed-company compliance
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, risk management and expense controls
- Support fundraising, strategic initiatives and board-level reporting





Business Finance

- Build dashboards and KPIs for management decision-making
- Analyse business performance and identify cost leakages
- Support pricing, target costing and profitability improvement
- Prepare financial models and business cases for expansion and new initiatives
- Provide actionable commercial insights instead of only reporting numbers

Retail Operations COCO Outlets

- Take ownership of financial and operating performance of company-owned retail outlets
- Build outlet-level P&Ls; and track sales, conversion, productivity and profitability
- Define store KPIs, SOPs and review mechanisms
- Manage store inventory, working capital and operating expenses
- Evaluate new locations based on ROI, break-even and payback period
- Support outlet rollout, fit-out, staffing and launch
- Build scalable retail processes and area-management structures
- Regularly visit stores and solve operational bottlenecks on the ground

Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Approximately 7–15 years of relevant experience
- Solid experience in MIS, budgeting, forecasting, business finance and financial controls
- Strong understanding of cash flow and working-capital management
- Experience in P&L; management, costing and profitability analysis
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Commercial mindset with the ability to work closely with frontline and operating teams
- Experience in EV, automotive, retail, manufacturing, consumer, distribution, listed companies or multi-location businesses will be preferred




- Experience handling retail or store economics will be an advantage
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Willing to travel regularly to company-owned retail outlets
- Strong ownership, accountability and problem-solving mindset
