Role: Guidewire Integration Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Integration Developer with hands-on experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite integrations, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Java, Gosu, Guidewire Cloud APIs, REST APIs, Integration Gateway (IG) App, App Events, and Apache Camel to develop scalable, secure, and reliable integrations between Guidewire and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement integrations between Guidewire InsuranceSuite and third-party applications.
- Develop integration components using Guidewire Cloud APIs, REST APIs, Integration Gateway (IG) App, messaging frameworks, and App Events.
- Configure point-to-point, publish-subscribe, and event-driven messaging patterns.
- Implement middleware integrations using Apache Camel, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
- Design reusable integration frameworks and optimize integration performance, scalability, and error handling.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, enrichment, and validation using XML and JSON.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and implement logging and notification mechanisms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders during development and UAT.
- Maintain integration documentation, API specifications, technical designs, and data flow diagrams.
- Support Guidewire upgrades and enhancements while ensuring compatibility with existing integrations.
- Follow coding standards, version control practices, and CI/CD processes.

Technical Requirements

- Minimum 3+ years of experience developing integrations within Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
- Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire data models, plugins, and messaging mechanisms.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies such as Apache Camel or MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment.

Certifications

Mandatory: Guidewire Associate Certified

Preferred: ACE Certified in Integrations
