Role & responsibilities

- Welcome guests at the restaurant, seat them, and present the menu
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen and bar
- Serve food and drinks in the correct sequence and to the resort's service standards
- Explain the menu, recommend dishes, and answer questions on ingredients and dietary needs
- Set up and reset tables, and prepare the service station before and after each shift
- Check on guests during the meal and respond to requests promptly
- Handle guest complaints calmly, fix the issue where possible, and escalate to the supervisor when needed
- Prepare bills, process payments (cash, card, UPI), and coordinate with the cashier
- Follow food hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times
- Support banquet, event, and in-room dining service when required

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, or a hospitality background (preferred)
- Good communication in Hindi and English
- Friendly,



confident, and well-groomed, with a service-oriented attitude
- Basic computer skills (MS Office; knowledge of a PMS or front office software is a plus)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to relocate to Ranchi and join at short notice (if applying from outside)
