India

Internship Focus Areas: • SEO Marketing • Community Building • Application Quality Testing • Competitor Analysis & Benchmarking • Growth Content Creation

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months (Potential full-time chance based on performance, ownership, and contribution to product growth)

The Backstory (About Us)

ALwrity is an open-source, AI-powered Marketing OS. We build intelligent, automated workflows by combining advanced LLMs with modern digital architecture.

Because we move at Mach 5, things break, APIs get grumpy, and edge cases pop up. We are looking for someone sharp, relentless, and technically curious to jump into the chaos, stress-test our tools, analyze the competitive landscape, and help scale our growth engine.

What This Role Actually Is

This is not a "write three posts a week and call it a day" internship.

As a Growth Hacker, you will sit at the intersection of product quality, market intelligence, and digital marketing:

- Application & Quality Testing : Rigorously stress-testing our AI content applications, publishing pipelines, and web tools to identify bugs, UX friction, and feature gaps.
- Competitor & Market Analysis : Continuously tracking competitor features, positioning, and content strategies to keep ALwrity ahead of the curve.
- Content Creation: Leveraging our platform and AI tools to produce high-value, non-generic content, guides, and marketing assets.
- Growth Marketing & SEO : Executing data-driven distribution strategies to optimize visibility across search and social channels.
- Community Building: Fostering and engaging our user and developer community across platforms (GitHub, Discord, and social spaces), turning active users into passionate product advocates.

You will break things, test features, analyze performance metrics, and feed those insights directly back into product development. The feedback loop is tight—and that’s the point. Your Mission (In Five Acts)

1. Stress-Test & Quality Audit: Put ALwrity's AI applications through their paces. Systematically test application stability, output quality, and user workflows to catch edge cases before our users do.
2. Conduct Deep Competitor Analysis: Analyze rival AI marketing and content tools. Map out their strengths, content footprints, and gaps in the market to help shape ALwrity's product and marketing roadmap.
3. Execute Growth Content Creation: Use our AI tools and your own creative edge to create, optimize, and publish high-converting content aligned with our core growth pillars (readability, audience intent, and unique value).
4.

Drive Community Growth & Engagement: Build and nurture an active open-source community. Engage with contributors, gather user feedback from channels like Discord or GitHub, host discussions, and transform users into active co-creators of the platform.
5. Propose Solutions, Don't Just Report Bugs: Go beyond listing errors or gaps. Propose meaningful UX improvements, feature enhancements, and community/marketing experiments that the development and growth teams can act on instantly.

The Person We Are Looking For

- Background: A candidate (Marketing, Growth, Product Management, or Computer Science) who is genuinely obsessed with AI tools, growth hacking, open-source culture, and modern digital ecosystems. The degree matters less than your disposition.
- Analytical & Metric-Driven: When you evaluate a competitor, a community engagement metric, or a piece of content, your instinct is to look at the data points, not just "vibes." You think in structured frameworks.
- Tech-Curious & Platform Literate: You understand how search engines, social algorithms, and AI generation pipelines work. You love tinkering with software and exploring new tech stacks.
- Low Ego, High Ownership: You don't wait to be assigned work that you can clearly see needs doing. You treat feedback as a product upgrade, not a personal critique.

Bonus Points If You...
- Have experience testing web applications, reporting bugs, or working with GitHub/issue trackers.
- Have conducted competitor benchmarks, SEO audits, or managed growth campaigns.
- Have built or managed your own blog, newsletter, portfolio website, or personal tech brand.
- Enjoy breaking, testing, and pushing new AI technologies to their limits.

What You Gain (Real-World Operations)

- Full-Stack Growth & Community Experience: Master the intersection of QA testing, competitive intelligence, open-source community building, and AI-assisted content marketing.
- Data-Driven Marketing Ops: Practical experience analyzing live SEO, engagement, and conversion loops.
- Product Thinking: Learn how user feedback loops and rigorous testing translate directly into software features.
- Startup Pace:

Experience a high-velocity environment focused on rapid decisions, not endless slide decks.
- Work Experience Letter: Official recommendation and experience letter from an innovative AI startup.

How to Apply: The Community Building Challenge

(Do this before your interview—we value clear thinking over polished resumes.)

Before we talk, we want to see how you think about open-source adoption, user engagement, and ecosystem growth. Pick one of the challenges below and show us your playbook:

- Community Growth Playbook: Outline a practical, step-by-step strategy to take ALwrity from its current stage to an active, self-sustaining community of users and contributors on platforms like GitHub, Discord, X or more.
- User Onboarding Experience: Map out how a new User or user discovers ALwrity, runs their first AI content pipeline, and moves from a passive visitor to an active community contributor. Where is the friction, and how would you fix it?
- Engagement & Retention Initiative: Propose a creative community event, hackathon, or collaborative initiative (e.g., building custom AI workflows together) designed to keep users excited, recognized, and coming back.

Deliver Your Thoughts Creatively: Share concrete mock-ups, communication templates, channel architecture ideas for Discord/GitHub, or structured frameworks rather than generic advice.

Tip — We don't want perfection; we want to see your empathy for users, structured thinking, and ability to spark engagement. If your work stands out, we will reach out directly to schedule an interview, and then let's discuss it like teammates.

A Note on Culture & Compensation

We’re proudly open-source, which means our budget is lean and our pockets are very pretty light. This role comes with a nominal monthly stipend to cover very basic expenses, but let’s be real: you aren't here for a big corporate paycheck.

We aren't offering a cushy office job or corporate bureaucracy—we’re offering front-row access to production AI engineering and growth operations.

Only apply if you are:

? Dangerously curious about AI systems and growth mechanics.

?️ Ready to sweat, experiment, and break things (productively).

? Hungry to build a public portfolio and thriving community that makes your resume untouchable.

Our team operates with a very hands-on approach. We value team members who take initiative and own their tasks independently. We actively conduct research and apply that knowledge to contribute to the project.
